Nashville Chamber Looks to Bring More Activities Downtown

The Nashville Chamber of Commerce is looking at new ways to bring more activities and entertainment to downtown Nashville.

We recently had the opportunity to speak with Executive Director Dena Tollette, who shared an update on the Chamber’s plans, including a grant application that could help move forward with a pocket park project in downtown Nashville.

Tollette said the Chamber is hopeful the grant will be awarded and that the project will provide another opportunity to bring people downtown. She also encouraged community members to share their ideas and suggestions, while giving credit to the Chamber’s board for the support and work they provide.

Tollette also reflected on the Chamber’s recent Tea with Miss Arkansas Teen event, saying it was a success. She discussed the possibility of making the event an annual tradition around fair season.

Before wrapping up this portion of the interview, Tollette announced an upcoming Open House hosted by the Howard County Historical Society.
