FCCLA Members Prepare for State Competitions and Fundraiser

KMTB and KNAS recently had the opportunity to sit down with the Nashville Junior High School FCCLA Advisor Christie Coleman Hanney, along with members Abigale Turbeville, Anna Renteria, Khloe Reich, Emily Watts, and Chloe Gathright, to discuss the group’s recent activities and upcoming events.

Hanney shared insights into what the FCCLA members have been busy with lately, highlighting their commitment and hard work.

Hanney also announced that two FCCLA teams will be advancing to state competitions, which will take place on April 9th and 10th. She explained the nature of the competitions and what the teams will be facing.

One of the team’s ultimate goals, Hanney added, is to qualify for the national competition in Orlando, Florida.

In addition to their competitions, Hanney mentioned that the FCCLA members are currently organizing a fundraiser for Valentine’s Day, where they will be selling a variety of items.
