Murfreesboro Woman Arrested in Methamphetamine Sting

Rex Ann Charles, 60, of Murfreesboro, was arrested following a controlled drug purchase operation by the 9th West Drug Task Force on February 4, 2025.

Authorities say an Undercover Informant arranged to buy methamphetamine from Charles at her residence on North Maple Street in Murfreesboro. Surveillance teams observed the transaction, during which the CI exchanged money for what is believed to be methamphetamine.

After the purchase, officers recovered a sandwich bag containing a white crystal-like substance, which the CI identified as methamphetamine. Charles has been charged with delivery of methamphetamine and remains under investigation.
