Nashville Scrappers Turn Attention to Fouke Panthers

The Nashville Scrappers are preparing for another Friday night matchup, and during Tuesday’s Brad Chesshir Coaches Show, Nashville head football coach Brad Chesshir looked back at last Friday night’s game against the Fountain Lake Cobras while also discussing what his team is working on moving forward.

Chesshir shared some of the key statistics from Friday night’s contest and talked about what stood out to him from his team’s performance.

The conversation then turned to special teams, where Chesshir highlighted the continued work of Byron Murrillo. Chesshir discussed Murrillo’s role and the impact he continues to have, while also talking about his work coaching the special teams unit.

To close out this portion of the interview, Chesshir discussed the importance of coaching and helping players learn from their mistakes. He said he will not place the blame on players when an assignment is missed, emphasizing instead the responsibility coaches have to improve and make sure they are not overcoaching their players.

The Nashville Scrappers will now turn their attention to this Friday night’s contest against the Fouke Panthers as the team celebrates Homecoming Week.

Stay tuned as we continue our conversation with Nashville Scrapper head football coach Brad Chesshir on the Brad Chesshir Coaches Show.
