Two Community Events Planned for October 20

Howard County residents will have two opportunities to take part in local community events on October 20.

The Howard County Extension Homemakers will host their annual Crocktober event from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Extension Homemakers Center located behind the Howard County Courthouse.

Guests can enjoy a variety of soups served with crackers and cornbread, along with dessert and drinks. Both dine-in and carry-out options will be available.

Tickets are $15, and the event is open to the community.

Also on October 20, Howard Memorial Hospital will host its Women’s Wellness Night from 4:30 to 7 p.m.

The evening will feature appetizers, drinks, door prizes, and more. Those interested in attending are encouraged to reserve their spot by calling 870-845-8156.

Both events offer local residents a chance to enjoy good food, fellowship, and community activities on October 20.
