NHS Baseball Coach guest speaker at Rotary

Nashville High School baseball coach Zac Stewart provided a preview of the 2025 baseball team recently at a Nashville Rotary Club meeting.

Stewart said this year’s team had 25 players and led by a strong group of seniors.

Stewart said this team has a lot of experience. He said several of the upper class-men have playing experience, but he has some depth that he can depend on in critical situations.

Stewart said this year’s conference is stacked from top to bottom with Magnolia, Arkadelphia, and De Queen expected to better than last year.

He also stated this year’s conference schedule will be a little different with teams playing the same team one week in a home and away format.

The Scrappers open the season Monday, March 3 against the Ashdown Panthers at Wilson Park. First pitch is scheduled for 5 pm. The game can be heard on B 99.5.
