Scrappers Hit the Road to Take on the Hope Bobcats

The Scrappers are on the road tonight as they prepare to take on the Hope Bobcats in a matchup set for a 7 p.m. kickoff.

We spoke with Head Coach Brad Chesshir, who reflected on how this matchup has changed over the years. Chesshir recalled when the game was considered a non-conference contest, but reclassification and changes in school classifications have shifted where certain programs compete.

Chesshir also broke down the Bobcats on both sides of the football, discussing what Hope brings offensively and defensively as the Scrappers prepare for tonight’s contest.

The head coach discussed specific plays on the call sheet and what his team will need to execute to compete against the Bobcats.

Chesshir said he expects Hope to come out ready to play its best football, emphasizing that the Scrappers will need to step up to the challenge.

The Scrappers will look to put their preparation to work tonight as they travel to take on the Hope Bobcats.

Kickoff is set for 7 p.m., and B99.5 will have all the live coverage.
