Scrappers’ Offense Shines in Win Over Hope Bobcats

Yesterday, we had the opportunity to speak with Scrappers Head Coach Brad Chesshir during the Coaches Show to recap the team’s performance last Friday against the Hope Bobcats.

Chesshir highlighted a strong offensive showing, including Hopson’s five touchdowns on 11 carries. He also noted the number of players who contributed to the offense throughout the contest.

Chesshir also shared additional offensive statistics from Friday’s matchup, providing more insight into the Scrappers’ performance on that side of the ball.

On the defensive side, Chesshir discussed the team’s defensive statistics and emphasized the importance of staying engaged on the sideline. He also recognized the players who contributed while waiting for their opportunities to get on the field.

Beyond the numbers, Chesshir said one of the key messages the coaching staff continues to emphasize is maturity and the importance of handling situations the right way.

We’ll hear more from Coach Chesshir on Friday as we discuss Senior Night and look ahead to the Scrappers’ next opponent, the Malvern Leopards.
