Mineral Springs School Board Appoints Gene Strode as Assistant Principal and Athletic Director

During a special called meeting on Wednesday April 2nd, the Mineral Springs School Board officially hired Gene Strode as the new K-12 Assistant Principal and Athletic Director.

Strode, who brings extensive experience in education and sports management, is expected to play a key role in both the academic and athletic development of students. His appointment is part of the district’s ongoing efforts to enhance school operations and student engagement, especially in the areas of academics and extracurricular activities.

Strode’s appointment will take effect on July 1st, 2025, and he will begin transitioning into his new role in the coming days.
