Dierks School Board Approves Key Staffing Changes in Special Called Meeting

The Dierks School Board held a special called meeting on Wednesday, April 11, 2025, to address several important personnel matters ahead of the upcoming school year.

During the meeting, the board accepted the resignation of Alex Clark, who has served as the district’s band director. No replacement has been named at this time.

In other business, board members approved the hiring of Beth Shelton as the new elementary principal. Shelton is expected to bring leadership and experience to the role as the district continues its focus on early education.

The board also hired Tristan Snider as a new social studies teacher. In addition to teaching duties, Snider will take on coaching responsibilities, though specific assignments have not yet been announced.
