Delight Man Arrested Following Traffic Stop

A Delight resident has been arrested on drug related charges. Sheriff’s deputies say 40 year old William Hutchison was arrested following a traffic stop this month on Highway 195. During the traffic stop, reports say Hutchison told deputies he had illegal substances on his person. Deputies say Hutchison retrieved from his shirt pocket two baggies of suspected marijuana and a cigarette pack containing a baggy with suspected methamphetamine. He was arrested and transported to the Pike County Jail.

Hutchison has been charged with one felony drug possession count and a misdemeanor charge of possessing a controlled substance with purpose to deliver.
