Sentences Announced In Howard County Circuit Court

A 27 year old Mineral Springs woman was sentenced to five years probation Wednesday in Howard County Circuit Court. Lauren Helmsderfer received the sentence after entering a no contest plea on a Theft of Property charge from last year. She remains in jail and is being held for another county.

A four year prison sentence was given to 23 year old John Mark Cox of Nashville. The sentence is the result of a revocation from a previous sentence on charges of possessing drug paraphernalia in 2018. Wednesday’s sentence will be served concurrently with a previously imposed prison sentence on other charges.
