Covid-19 Cases In Southwest Arkansas

The number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in southwest Arkansas expanded Tuesday. Pike and Hempstead counties each received notification from state officials that their counties had a confirmed case. Howard County officials started their day yesterday with a call from the health department also notifying them of a confirmed case locally. However, that was changed around mid-day Tuesday, when the state health department offices in Little Rock realized there was an address error and the case believed to be in Howard county was actually located in a neighboring county.
