Local Area Continues To Deal With COVID-19
As the number of confirmed COVID-19 cases continues to expand in southwest Arkansas, Nashville Mayor Billy Ray Jones is stressing to local residents to follow guidelines that have been implemented from the state and federal levels.
The mayor reports that Howard county now has three confirmed cases of COVID-19. That number is expected to continue increasing. It’s going to take everyone doing their part to keep the virus from spreading at a tremendous rate, according to the mayor.
Yesterday, Howard Memorial Hospital issued a plea for protective equipment including masks, gowns and gloves as they expect their treatment and testing of suspected COVID-19 patients to increase.
