Power Outages Continue In South Arkansas

As of Wednesday night, numerous customers remained without power in Pike County as a result of storms that moved through the area Sunday evening.

A large number of those outages are due to Entergy Arkansas suffering extensive damage to its infrastructure.

More than 20 counties across southern Arkansas still have a significant number of residents without electricity. Entergy Arkansas is the supplier of electricity for several of those affected counties including Pike.

Numerous electric crews are working daily on restoring power but there is no timetable given as to when everyone will have electricity again.
