COVID Count Increases Around Area Over The Weekend
The number of active COVID-19 cases increased in three southwest Arkansas counties over the weekend.
Howard County currently has five active cases according to information from the Arkansas Department of Health. Since the state began keeping track of Caronavirus cases, Howard County has had 21 total cases and 16 recoveries.
Sevier County continues to see the area’s largest number of cases with 133 currently active. Behind Sevier, Polk County has the next most currently active case count at 10. Hempstead County is reporting five cases, Little River County has three and there’s one active case currently in Pike County according to the health department.
