COVID Cases Down Slightly In Southwest Arkansas
Most southwest Arkansas counties are seeing slightly fewer active COVID-19 cases compared to how last week began.
In Howard County, there have been a total of 38 cases of the coronavirus. Only seven of those remain active at the present time.
Sevier county continues to lead the area with 159 active cases.
Two counties who are still seeing the number of active cases increase are Hempstead and Nevada counties. The Prescott area has the second highest active case total at the moment with 70 being reported while Hempstead county has 14 active cases.
Among the other counties, Little River county has 13 active cases, Polk county has 19 and Pike county still has the fewest in the area with two active cases.
