Ashdown Man Sentenced on Multiple Counts
An Ashdown man charged in 2017 with multiple counts of breaking or entering in Howard County, has been ordered to serve a two year prison sentence, with a judicial transfer granted to a community corrections facility. 29 year old Christopher Davis was originally given a probated sentence on the 2017 charges. Earlier this year, prosecutors began the revocation proceedings against Davis, alleging he has become involved in more legal trouble and has failed to pay his court ordered financial obligations.
Davis also received a 2 year sentence, with an additional two year suspended sentence on charges from Sevier County. That sentence will be served concurrently with the revocation case in Howard County. Davis will also have to complete a drug rehab program.
