Classroom Doors Open in Nashville
Classroom doors are back open today, as the 20/21 school year gets underway. Unlike any previous year, this school year begins with public school districts offering virtual learning in addition to the traditional on campus learning method. Districts are also prepared for a blended learning method, should they be forced to close at some point due to COVID-19 issues.
While Nashville teachers are generally excited to be back to educating students, Superintendent Doug Graham says his personnel are also a bit apprehensive as to how things will go this year:
Superintendent Graham said about 20 percent of the district’s students are taking advantage of the virtual learning process as school begins.
