Nashville P&Z to Consider Rezoning Requests
The Nashville Planning and Zoning Commission is being asked to consider a couple rezoning requests. Owners of property in the 300 block of South Washington Street are asking for permission to operate a resale shop from their residence. The other request is pending sale of property on Hale Street and asks for a reclassification to allow for development of a “muilti-generational community” that focuses on independent living, small homes and mid-size homes.
The property in question is on the south side of Hale Street, east of 4th Street and to the west of Main Street.
Nashville City Council members were presented the requests Monday evening….but decided to stay with the standard practice of letting the planning and zoning commission make a recommendation. At the current time, the commission doesn’t have a meeting date set to hear the requests.
