Mineral Springs travels to Murfreesboro tonight in 7-2A action
In what has been an out of the ordinary football season so far for the Mineral Springs Hornets, a little normalcy will be experienced tonight, as conference play finally opens in the 7-2A. Mineral Springs opens league play at Murfreesboro. Hornets Head Coach David Bennett said he got to watch the Ratters homecoming game last week, where they scored more than 60 points. Coach Bennett says he’s looking for his squad to play a fundamentally sound game on the road tonight:
Kick-off will be at 7 o’clock.
In other games, the 2A schools in our area finally begin conference play tonight. The Dierks Outlaws host Foreman at 7 o’clock in a game that will be aired on 105.5 The Maverick. Ashdown travels to Malvern, Haskell Harmony Grove will host Bauxite and Arkadelphia will miss a third consecutive game tonight due to COVID-19. They were scheduled to play Fountain Lake.

In Class 5A, De Queen will host Hot Springs, Fairview will be at Magnolia, and Texarkana travels to Hot Springs for a game against Lakeside.
