Dierks School Board approves Christmas bonuses

During the November meeting of the Dierks School Board, board members approved a non-recurring $1,000 bonus for all certified and classified staff as a Christmas bonus.

Board members also elected Dillad McSpadden as board president, Jeffery Mounts as vice-president, Trey Eckert as secretary, Brad Garner as Legislative Liaison.

JoAnn Walters Elementary principal, Lori Finley reported students who met their reading goals and students who were named to the BLUE Superhero wall will be entered into a drawing to select some playground equipment.

Finley also reported attendance is down by .04 percent compared to the same time last year.
