Four people sentenced to ADC in Howard County Circuit Court

Four people were sentenced to the Arkansas Department of Corrections yesterday in Howard County Circuit Court. 20 year old Lloyd Smith, of Mineral Springs, was ordered to serve 6 years in prison on charges of Breaking or Entering. Smith’s sentence will be served concurrently with another sentence from Little River County. 22 year old Gyasi Benson of Trumann, Arkansas was sentenced to five years in the department of corrections, with an additional five years suspended sentence. Benson was originally charged with drug possession, Aggravated Assault, possession of firearms, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
40 year old Juliann Boone of Nashville was sentenced to five years in prison yesterday on charges of possessing drugs and drug paraphernalia. 30 year old Christopher Edwards of Mineral springs was given a four year prison sentence and two years suspended on charges of possessing suspected methamphetamine after leading authorities on a vehicle pursuit last month.
