COVID-19 Update
Governor Asa Hutchinson has ordered constructed of two makeshift hospitals to house COVID-19 patients. The units will be built in Van Buren and in the central Arkansas area, as the state prepares for a possible increase of patients due to COVID-19, following the Christmas and New Year’s holiday period:

The latest numbers from the health department for our listening area indicates there are 97 active cases of the virus in Howard County. Hempstead County has the most, with 108, while Pike County is reporting 82 active cases of COVID-19.
