Scrappers defeat Bearcats

The Nashville Scrapperettes suffered their first loss in conference play Tuesday night at Mena, 58 to 44. During the senior boys game, Nashville staged a second half comeback to beat the Bearcats, 44 to 37. Both teams are now 2 and 1 in league play.
There’s been a change in the senior varsity’s next scheduled games. The two senior high teams were scheduled to play at Bauxite Friday night. COVID-19 has affected the Bauxite senior boys, so that game will not be played. Friday’s schedule of games at Bauxite now includes a pair of 7th grade and junior high games, along with the senior girls contest.
