Glasgow Benefit Sat. in Umpire

A benefit for Dierks resident Mason Glasgow will be held Saturday evening at the Mountain View Baptist Church and Umpire Fire Department. Tomorrow’s fund raiser includes a dinner featuring smoked chicken, potato salad, roll, dessert and drink for a cost of eight dollars per plate. Serving will be from 5 to 8 p.m. An auction, featuring numerous items donated by area businesses will take place at six p.m.
Glasgow was recently diagnosed with ALS and proceeds from Saturday’s benefit will go to Glasgow’s medical expense.
