AAA selecting tournament sites for spring sports today

The Arkansas Activities Association will meet this afternoon to select host sites for regional and state basketball tournaments, as well as the locations that will host spring sports state events.
Nashville is the only school to submit a bid to host the 4A Region Baseball and softball tournaments. Selection for the host site of the 4A state baseball and softball tournaments will be between Nashville and Morillton.
In Class 3A, Ashdown is the only school with a bid to host the baseball and softball tournaments, while Ashdown and Valley Springs are bidding to host the state tournaments in those sports for 3A schools.
In 2A, the regional tournament bids are between Horatio and Parkers Chapel for both baseball and softball tournaments.
