ARDot approves bids for roadway improvements in Pike County

The Arkansas State Highway Commission has approved a bid for improvements to roadways in Pike County, according to Arkansas Department of Transportation officials. The project will resurface 1.2 miles of various city streets in the city of Daisy. These include Crawford Park, Jones Park, Lakeview Ln., W. Park Rd., and Elm Ln.
Tri State Asphalt, Inc. of De Queen was awarded the contract at $279,913.25.
Construction is scheduled to begin in two to four weeks, weather permitting. Completion is expected this summer.
