MS School Board votes to rehire all certified staff

The Mineral Springs School Board voted to rehire all certified staff on the high school and elementary school list. They also approved a salary schedule that includes steps of $475 for certified staff members and steps of $525 for staff members with a master’s degree.

Board members approved a resolution for the delivery of bonds. Superintendent Billy Lee reported the district lost about $900,000 due to changes in interest rates since November hey considered the bond initiative back in November or December.

Board members also approved the construction of an outdoor classrooms at a cost of $380,000.
