A moment with Mayor Dunaway

Tuesday, KMTB and KNAS took a moment to speak with Nashville Mayor Larry Dunaway who updated the city on what took place at the Nashville City Council meeting.

The Nashville City Council recently approved an ordinance to accept a water and sewer rate study in compliance with act 605 that was presented by Mayor Dunaway. Dunaway talked about how long it took to do the rate study and he mentioned how the city hired an engineer along with the process of getting the rate study done.

Dunaway stated that approving this ordinance will allow them to not only meet the demand of the expansion at Tyson but allow Tyson to move forward with the project.

Dunaway also talked about the resolution that the council recently passed at the meeting that was in regard to authorizing the sale of city owned land by the solar farm.

Dunaway even mentioned that they are making good progress on the budget, and he also gave a special thanks to his staff and department heads.
