A moment with Mayor Dunaway part 1

This week, KMTB and KNAS had the chance to interview Nashville Mayor Larry Dunaway regarding the latest Nashville City Council meeting.

In the first segment of our talk, Mayor Dunaway discussed the recent amendments to the personnel policy, which now allows city employees to accrue five weeks of vacation after 25 years of service.

Additionally, Mayor Dunaway addressed the council’s decision to appoint Lynn Dyar as the replacement for Jimmy Dale, who will serve out the remainder of the term. He also mentioned ongoing work on various properties throughout Nashville.

Ending the initial part of our interview, Mayor Dunaway paused to honor the service of former council member Jimmy Dale.
