A moment with Mayor Dunaway Part 2

Wednesday, KMTB and KNAS had a discussion with Nashville Mayor Larry Dunaway. Dunaway talked about a planning and zoning meeting that took place on July 20th, 2023, that was in regard to the property located at 617 N 4th Street in Nashville that is currently owned by Brock Yates. Members of the planning and zoning commission that were present at that meeting were Judy Davis, Deborah Marshall, Matt Smith, and Ryan Stuckey.

Dunaway stated that Yates explained to the council during their regular meeting that he has a buyer that is interested in the property. Dunaway stated that one of the council members’ concerns is there is no assurance that the new buyer would put money into property and bring it up to code. 

Dunaway even mentioned how the planning and zoning ordinances were written in the past.
