Academic Growth At Local Schools
Two campuses within the Nashville School District have been honored for being in the top 10 percent of schools with academic growth for the 2018/2019 school year. The local primary & elementary schools are among 175 in the state to be included in the Arkansas School Recognition Program through the state’s Department of Education. Schools chosen for the honor will divide over 6.7 million dollars. The local elementary school received $24 thousand 500 dollars and the Nashville Primary School is receiving 28 thousand 900 dollars.
A pair of schools within the South Pike County School District were also on the top 10 list for academic growth. Delight Elementary School is to receive 47 hundred dollars from the state while Murfreesboro High School is scheduled to receive 14 thousand 550 dollars through the state’s program.
