Accident claimed the life of a Delight woman

Saturday evening around 6 pm, an accident in Pike County near Stewart Road claimed the life of Delight woman.

Rex and Tracy Watts of Delight were traveling northbound on State Highway 27 on their 2022 Harley Davidson motorcycle, when the driver of a 2015 Toyota turned left into the path of the motorcycle.

Rex Watts attempted to avoid the collision, but the Toyota struck the front of the motorcycle.

Rex Watts was airlifted to a hospital in Hot Springs, while his wife 52-year-old Tracy Watts was pronounced dead at the scene.

According to the Arkansas State Police incident report, conditions were clear and dry.

The accident was investigated by Arkansas State Trooper Tate Ledbetter.
