Accident results in DWI arrest
On October 29th, around 11:20pm, Nashville Police Officer Dillon Roberts was called to Hill and Ansley to a two vehicle accident.
Roberts spoke with one of the drivers and noticed a strong odor of intoxicants coming from his breath. Robert asked the driver if he had been doing any drinking and the driver admitted that he had.
The suspect was identified as 26 year old David Martinez of Nashville.
Martinez was arrested for suspected driving while intoxicated and transported to the Howard County Jail. While at the jail, it was reported that a Breath alcohol concentration test was performed and Martinez level was .22 and according to his criminal history search, this was Martinez fourth DWI.
Other charges for Martinez were driving on a suspended license for DWI as well as no interlock device.
