Albert Pike – Bruce Westerman

Ever since the decision to not resume camping allowance at the Albert Pike campgrounds Congressman Bruce Westerman says he has received ample feedback in support of renovations for future camping allowance. In an interview last week Westerman spoke to how he feels the U.S. Forest Service made a decision lacking consideration for both public input as well as his own recommendations.

Funding will potentially come through the Great American Outdoors Act, the Land and Water Conservation Fund, and other agency congressional appropriations.
