Amity resident arrested in Dierks for possession of drugs with purpose to deliver
On December 2nd, Dierks Police Officer Kyler Turner conducted a traffic stop on Hwy 70 in Dierks on a vehicle for violation of tail lamps, reflectors, and defective equipment.
The driver was identified as 23 year old Fredrick Ugene Provence of Amity.
As reported Howard County Deputy Jake Eudy came to assist Turner. While speaking with the occupants of the vehicle Deputy Eudy smelled a strong odor of Marijuana coming from the vehicle. Provence then confessed to Eudy that they had four ounces of marijuana inside the vehicle.
It was also reported that when the occupants had stepped out of the vehicle, Turner learned that all the occupants had been residing together near Amity.
Officer Turner seized 349 grams of THC infused products, 530 grams of a green leafy substance believed to be marijuana, nine packages of THC infused vaping oil, four packages of THC infused gummies, three packages of THC infused shatter, and one THC infused cereal bar.
Provence along with 19 year old Ethan Wallace Ragsdill and 38 year old Leon Cordell Riley were arrested and charged with Possession of a schedule VI controlled substance with the purpose to deliver.
