Area basketball players selected to play in Arkansas All-Star games

This summer’s Arkansas High School All-Star Girls Basketball game will feature several southwest Arkansas players.  The West team roster, announced this week, will include Honesty Taylor and Sidney Townsend from the 4-A State Champion Nashville Scrapperettes.  The squad also features Kirby players Felicity Pate and Jaci Vines.

Nashville Head Coach Paul Dean and Kirby Head Coach Robert Tucker will serve as assistant coaches for the West squad.

The boys game will also include a pair of southwest Arkansas players for the West team.  Robert Carrigan of Blevins and Will Dykes of De Queen, are among the players who will participate.

The games are scheduled for June 25th at U.C.A. in Conway.
