Area City Council Meetings Set For Today

A couple of city councils will hold their regular June meetings today.

At Mineral Springs, the meeting will be the first time council members have gathered since COVID-19 began appearing in March. The agenda for this evening will feature an update on the water tower project, the 2019 water audit and write offs and amending the peddler’s permit. Due to social distancing requirements, today’s meeting will be held at the Black Pearl at 5:30 PM.

Also meeting today is the Murfreesboro City Council. They have an agenda that features a tourism report, a resolution to revise the fun park grant, the franchise tax for South Central Connect and the water department’s legislative audit. Today’s meeting will be at 6:30 PM in the municipal room.
