Area Deer Hunting Permits Still Available

The Arkansas Game and Fish Commission has begun selling leftover deer hunting permits for Wildlife Management Areas in the state.

In southwest Arkansas, there are ten modern gun hunt permits remaining available for the period of November 14th through 22nd at the Dr. Lester Sitzes WMA in Hempstead County. 67 muzzle loading permits also remain available for that management area. Those permits are good for the period of October 17th through the 25th.

Permits are sold on a first come-first serve basis and may be purchased through the commission’s website at agfc.com.
