Area paramedic and EMT’s to receive COVID vaccine

Paramedics and E.M.T.’s serving the Nashville area are scheduled to receive their first round of vaccinations from the Arkansas Department of Health this weekend. John Gray of Pafford E.M.S. said their staff members are continuing to make sure patients are transported to medical facilities for treatment. COVID-19 is causing patient transfers to be made at greater distances due the amount of people being treated. Gray said it’s been a long time since medical transport staff got a complete night’s rest.
