Area School Boards Meeting Later Today

The Nashville School Board will hold its regular June meeting today at 5:30.

This month’s agenda includes discussion about making a purchase with the district’s CARES ACT funds, discussion of graduation options, possible changes to reserve seating at Scrapper Stadium, employment of summer school staff, bids on painting work, a carpet project at Primary School and possible changes to the indexes for extended contracts.

Also meeting today in regular session will be the Dierks School Board. Their agenda for this month includes Clark Construction and Architectures with information on options for a project at the elementary school. The board will also continue discussion relating to technology upgrades, flooring bids, consideration of a resolution to move any funds in excess of 755 thousand dollars to the building fund, a resolution pertaining to the COVID-19 emergency and a student transfer request.

This evening’s meeting begins at 6:00 o’clock in the high school library.
