Area sees slight decline in Covid numbers

Howard County is following the state trend of seeing a slight decline in the number of active Covid-19 cases. The latest numbers from the Arkansas Department of Health show the county has 476 Covid-19 cases. That’s the lowest number seen since the latter part of last week. Numbers for other local counties includes 387 cases presently in Hempstead County. Pike County is reporting 264 cases, Polk County has 256, Little River County’s number of active cases stands at 374, and Sevier County continues to have the most active case count, at 566.
