Area Trash Collection Holiday Schedule

Area trash schedules will be affected by this week’s Thanksgiving holiday. No pickups will be made Thursday. The Thursday and Friday routes for this week in Howard county will both be collected Friday. In Pike County, the trash route for Thanksgiving Day will be made on Monday, December 2nd. The rest of that week will run one day behind normal. Hempstead County trash pick up for Wednesday and Thursday will be made Wednesday. Trash pick up for December 2nd and December 3rd will be made on the 3rd. In the city of Murfreesboro, trash collection for Tuesday and Wednesday will be made Tuesday. Collection for Thursday and Friday will be made on Wednesday.
Most local government offices will also be closed Thursday and Friday for the holiday.
