Arkansans encouraged not to attend New Year’s Eve parties

Arkansas Health Secretary Dr. Jose Romero issued a personal appeal to all Arkansans urging them to reconsider gatherings this New Year’s holiday with family or friends outside of their household. He said Arkansas faces some of its worst days ahead in regards to the ongoing pandemic.

On Tuesday, the state of Arkansas reported 66 new deaths from COVID-19, a new record for our state.
