Arkansas Checks Are On The Way According to Secretary Of Commerce

Over 130 thousand Arkansans have filed for unemployment so far since the COVID-19 health emergency began affecting the state about one month ago.

Mike Preston, Arkansas’ Secretary of Commerce, says people who filed for their unemployment in March should have already received their first check.

Preston said more state residents can expect the checks as the claims are filed on a weekly basis.
