Arkansas Department of Agriculture’s Forestry Division giving away Free Trees

This Friday April 12th from 11am to 1pm the Arkansas Department of Agriculture’s Forestry Division District Office will be Celebrating Arbor Day by giving away Free Trees. It is located at 106 Forestry Drive in Dierks.  The seedlings were donated by the Arkansas Urban Forestry Council. 
Arbor Day is a holiday that celebrates nature and encourages people to plant trees and is officially celebrated on the last Friday in April in the United States.

The limit is 5 seedlings per person. Species will vary based on availability, but will include some mix of baldcypress, Shumard oak, cherry oak, red mulberry, river birch, and or sycamore.
