Arkansas High School Sports Now In Dead Period

Due to the growing concerns over COVID-19, the Arkansas Activities Association has implemented a dead period for all member schools. During this time, coaches are prohibited from engaging in any type of activity involving student athletes. The dead period includes practices, training, weight lifting, tryouts, competition or travel. All school athletic facilities are to be closed during the dead period which is currently in place through March 30th.
