Arkansas Rehabilitation Services Highlights Programs Available Across Region 8

Arkansas Rehabilitation Services is helping individuals with disabilities prepare for, obtain, and maintain employment through a variety of support services offered across southwest Arkansas.

In this portion of the interview, LaVennier Brown, Rehabilitation Area Manager for Region 8, discussed the programs and services available through Arkansas Rehabilitation Services and how the agency assists individuals in reaching their employment goals.

Brown began by explaining the range of services provided through the agency.

Brown said Region 8 is served by four rehabilitation counselors who travel throughout several counties to meet with clients and provide assistance.

She then outlined the rehabilitation process, explaining the steps individuals take as they work with counselors to determine eligibility, develop a plan, and receive services tailored to their needs.
