Arkansas Rent Relief

The Arkansas Department of Human Services has $173 million in federal funding to help pay overdue and upcoming rent utilities for eligible Arkansas renters. This program will pay up to 15 months of rent as well as Overdue rent plus 5% of any late fees you have dating back to April 1st of 2020. This program also covers overdue utility bills for gas, water and electricity. You are eligible for this assistance if you meet 1 or more of the following criteria: 

1. If you or someone in your home qualifies for unemployment
2. Your household income decreased during the pandemic
3. Someone in your home suffered significant financial hardship due to the pandemic
